A short drive leads to Barton Broad where visitors can enjoy a walk around the broadwalk or try the Solar boat experience. Nearby Horning village offers boat hire, a tree adventure park, and a trip on the Mississippi paddle steamer is a must. Medieval Norwich, with its magnificent cathedral, castle, museums, galleries, cafés, restaurants and excellent shopping, is under 10 miles' drive as are the fine sandy beaches of the beautiful Norfolk coast. Shops and pubs serving food 1½ miles.

The cottage is excellently presented, the gardens are very large. The location is very peaceful with surrounding fields and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

This was excellent accommodation and we certainly hope to return to it. The barn was beautifully presented and furnished - a lovely place to return to each day. The hot tub was a real bonus. The owners were friendly and welcoming and had obviously put a lot of time, thought and effort into the property.

Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. If you prefer something quieter during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk, try the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers and birdwatchers. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.
The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
